Enchanted Easter

This is the cake I made for our family Easter tomorrow.   It was a lot of work to make, but fun at the same time.

Julie, this is amazing! That face, and those little critters are adorable.
I also like the way you did your cakeboard, did you cover it with fondant? I'm still stuck in the foil paper on cardboard era, I must learn to use my boards to showcase the cake better.

I always used the foil boards too, then I kept seeing all these pretty cakes on CC and so started trying it. Now I can't stop covering the boards in fondant. It adds such a nice touch.

This one is green fondant then the star tip used to imprint the grass texture all over the board. A little time involved but worth it in the end.
