Over the moon

I am sharing more good news.  For those of you following my cake blog Smashing Cake Designs you are aware of my last cake making it to the top.

Well today I got a great call for one of my scrapbooking pages.  Close to my Heart called me today to request permission to publish one of my layouts.  I am over the moon!!  As you know Close to my Heart creates tones of amazing layouts all the time, so for one of mine to be noticed by them feels pretty amazing.  

I will post more details later and a picture of the layout once I have everything organized with them. 

Beer Anyone?

I finally got all my supplies to make a edible beer bottle mold.   I still am waiting on the edible printer, but couldn't wait to try making the mold today and the bottle.   This is my first sugar beer bottle and thought I would share it with you.

Sunday is my sister-in-laws birthday.   The meaning of her name is Honey-bee so this was fun cake to make for her.

Tomorrow is one of my staff member's birthdays.  She is a great member of my team, very organized and a true asset.   She has been a painter for years.  I have yet to see her work, but from what I understand it is beautiful.   A painter's pallet was the first thing that came to my mind when I thought of a birthday cake for her.   I am sure she will love it.

Not sure if any of you noticed or not but at the bottom of the blog I have had a E-Mail me tab.  Previously when you clicked on that it took you to myctmh website.   Well that has been fixed!!   After trying to set up an contact me section on my Smashing Cake Designs blog I called Malinda from Sudio dpi for an SOS.  Malinda had the answer and now the contact me section has been added to my other blog and I fixed this one while I was at it.
