Magnifique Workshop on the go

Here is another WOTG I completed this weekend.   Like I mentioned below I am loving these workshops!
I adjusted the layouts slightly again to work with the photos I had and I love the results.

I am now caught up on my Sons birthday layouts.  Now I need to get the birthday parties done and I will be laughing.

Watch for this workshop in November.

Workshops on the go

I have a new found love for the workshops on the go (WOTG).   Since they were introduced a couple of years ago, I did about a handful of the layouts.   While I have made it my mission to work my way through all of them in the new Fall/Winter book.
In an older post you can see the Olivia page I did.   This weekend I have been working my way through the Hooligans and Magnifique WOTG.
Although the layouts provided by CTMH are beautiful, I have been changing them around slightly to work better with my photos.   Changing photo sizes and papers used has allowed me to finally work my way through my ever growing pile of already printed photos.

Here are my Hooligan pages for my Son and Daughters albums.

Beach Party

This cake was ordered for a elegant beach party this weekend.   The birthday girl is turning 50 - Happy Birthday!

Wouldn't this also make a great beach wedding cake?

This is my second post today so please scroll down.   Plus, I now have a few days off from making cakes so I will be hitting the scrapbook room finally.

1st Anniversary

Wow, this weekend it's been a year since my little brother wed.   I made this small cake for them to celebrate with this weekend.

Cold Beer Anyone?

I finally was able to make a beer bucket cake :)    This is a smaller one for one of the staff at my office.   Beer bottles, labels and ice are edible sugar on top of a chocolate cake.

First Birthday and a Retirement

This week I had 2 cake orders to complete.   The first was for a little girl turning 1.   Her parents wanted the In The Night Garden theme.

The second cake this week was a retirement cake.   This golf bag was made to celebrate some extra time on the greens.   Everything is edible.

Horseshoe Tournament

I was contacted a few weeks ago to make a cake for an annual horseshoe tournament.    The customer admitted it was more like an annual excuse to get together with friends and have a few beverages.   So I thought it would be fun to include a cooler of beer on the cake as well.

Halloween Cake Pops

I made some Halloween Cake Pops this week as a sample for an upcoming Halloween cake decorating workshop.    Keep your eye out for information on this workshop.

Ice Cream anyone?

Here a fun Ice Cream Sundae cake.   These are little waffle bowls, with round cake covered to look like ice cream.
