2 Cute

I finally completed a page for myself. I have been so busy creating workshop layouts and decorating cakes that my personal scrapbooking is falling behind a little these days. This is a layout of my daughter at the Orillia Air Show last week. I thought she looked so cute with these headphones on so in my world that means a scrapbook layout.

June workshop with pictures

We had a discussion about cutting smaller photos in the June workshop. Some people have a hard time cutting their photos (this gets easier with time) others are unsure of how to make smaller photos work. I was able to get some pictures of my kids at the beach this weekend, so instantly put them onto the June workshop layouts. I thought I would re-post these layouts so you can all see how cropping a picture smaller really brings a focus item to the spotlight.

Goodie Box

I received my goodie box today so wanted to take a picture for all of you to see what kind of items where inside. This was a larger box that has a value of $275 and it sold for only $125, a GREAT value. There are 2 more mystery boxes to come before the end of June. Keep checking my website everyday after 11am to see if it is a "Goodie box day". www.craftingwithjulie.myctmh.com hit the on-line shopping tab, then the June deal-a-day and the deal for that day will appear.

5 Little monkey's jumping on the bed

This classic song is a favorite of the kids at my son's daycare, so I decided to make a cake for them. Owen gave it the thumbs up this afternoon, so hopefully it will pass the approval of the other 3 year olds when I drop it off tomorrow morning.

It's hard to tell in the picture, but I covered the board and them embossed it to make it resemble hardwood floors. The monkey's are all hand make from fondant which took about 3 hours to complete all 5 of them.
